The SSC CHSL Exam for 2025 will have two tier: Tier 1 and Tier 2. Both tiers are conducted online (Computer Based Test).SSC CHSL Tire 1 Exam will be compulsory for all candidates. Tier 1 is an objective type exam with four sections:
1. General Intelligence
2. General Awareness
3. Quantitative Aptitude
4. English Language
SSC CHSL Tire 1 Exam will be compulsory for all candidates.
SSC CHSL Tire 1 Exam Pattern:
Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT)
Sections: English, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness
Number of Question: 100 (25 from each section)
Total Marks: 200
Time Duration: 60 minutes
Negative Marking: 0.5 marks for each wrong answer

Mode: Computer Based Test (CBT)
Sections:
Section 1: Mathematical Abilities and Reasoning and General Intelligence.
Section 2: English Language and Comprehension and General Awareness.
Section 3: Computer Knowledge Test and Skill Test/Typing Test.
Type of Question: Objective type multiple choice question, expect for the skill test/typing test
Negative Marking: 1 mark for each wrong answer in sections 1,2and Module 1 of section 3
Time Duration: Session 1 (Sections l,ll and Module l of sections lll) and Session 2 (Module ll of Section lll)
Skill Test/Typing Test: Medium of test is Hindi or English
Typing Speed (English): 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) or 10500 kye depressions per hour
Typing Speed (Hindi): 30 words per minute (w.p.m.) or 9000 key depression per hour
